Summary:Alaska Gasline Development Corporation (a state corporation) took over the Alaska LNG Project in 2016 after commercial producers decided against further investment due to market conditions. AGDC submitted is project application on April 17, 2017 to FERC, which included the latest resource reports, but FERC has stated that more data may be requested. The state has looked into property acquisition and purchasing the partners' limited liability company that holds certain rights. The alternative Valdez line, an alternative North Slope LNG plant, and the Kenai Spur Highway relocation are being analyzed.
