Summary: | The Alaska Gasline Development Corporation is in process of completing 100 pages of data requests from federal regulators, which should be submitted between October 2017 and January 2018. Meanwhile, a new federal office, the Federal Infrastructure Permitting Improvement Steering Council, to monitor environmental review and permitting efforts for large projects. The Council is included in Title 41 of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation Act (FAST) enacted in December 2015; thus, it is referred to as FAST-41.
