On August 25, 2016, more than thirty personnel from state and federal regulatory agencies met in Anchorage with staff from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and with the third-party contractor that would help draft the environmental impact stattement for the Alaska LNG Project. These persons are reviewing ten reports in the second draft "resource reports" (no. 11 was not included). Simultaneously, the State of Alaska announced plans to take over the leadership role of the project.
