520 |a Three types of recreational studies are planned to document baseline conditions and to help assess potential effects on recreation and aesthetic resources from construction and operation of the proposed Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project. The study areas vary by study, but overall encompass a region far beyond the proposed Project corridors and reservoir sites and include the Parks Highway (western boundary); the Denali Highway (northern boundary); the Richardson Highway (eastern boundary); the Glenn Highway from Glennallen west to Chickaloon, then northwards along the Chickaloon River to the Chickallon Glacier, then west to the Y road junction (with Talkeetna Road) on the Parks Highway (southern boundary); and 1/4-mile corridors along those highways. For the aesthetics analysis a secondary study area will be used that includes all land south to the Glenn Highway.
