Response of the Alaska Power Authority to comments on the Alaska Power Authority's application for license for major project

[Alaska] : Alaska Power Authority, [1984]

3 v. : ill., maps ; 28 cm. + 2 maps, sheets 56 x 46 cm. and 53 x 46 cm. + 24 attachments.

Alaska Power Authority's application for license was issued February and July, 1983 and approved by FERC July 27, 1983 (APA 1792-1809).   In a December 12, 1983 letter, the Department of the Interior, Office of the Secretary sent its comments on the license application.   This three-volume set, released February 15, 1984, contains the APA responses to these comments.   Each response is assigned letter tab (such as "I" for Department of the Interior) followed by a successive comment number.   For APA responses to comments from the other agencies including other organizations within the Department of Interior, see Comments from Responses to Agency comments on license application, released January 19, 1984 (APA 1134).

Main Volumes and Reference Volumes That Were Assigned Book Numbers or That Are Known Only By Comment Number

The statement "[number] of 25" is a handwritten note on an attached label bearing the series "Harza-Ebasco Susitna Joint Venture document number".   The Susitna Hydroelectric Project document index (Numerical listing, page 208), gives "25 books" as part of the description of APA 2905 (the third volume), which are references to responses to comments.   These 25 works make up volume 3 ("v. 3" does not appear on that volume), which is referred to as book 1, plus twenty-four items each containing one or more references to responses to a specific comment which were bound separately.   These separate volumes are being included in the table below as ARLIS finds copies.   For some titles, the cataloging is based on copies missing or lacking the Harza-Ebasco series label that normally has the "[number] of 25" statement, and those titles are marked below.

A few of these references are assigned their own APA numbers and are listed at the end of this table.

Reference Volumes That Were Assigned Their Own APA Numbers

As there is no list of the "25 books" in the entry for APA 2905 nor in the 3-volume set, it is not known at this time if the following title(s) belong to the group of 25 books.   These volumes contain agency comment numbers, but they were also assigned APA numbers in the APA indexes, so they are shelved at ARLIS by their APA numbers.
