Summary:The Matanuska-Susitna Borough added 145 pages to its argument that Port MacKenzie would be a better location than Nikiski for the Alaska LNG Project's natural gas liquefaction plant and marine terminal, and claims AGDC may have violated the National Environmental Policy Act and federal Clean Water Act through its filings. The new governor, Mike Dunleavy, wants to open talks with North Slope producers. Meanwhile, the state team submitted more data to FERC on January 23, 2019, regarding wetlands, gravel fill, dredge material, pipeline yards, and pipeline offtake points.
