Summary:The Alaska LNG Project plans to submit the second round of resource reports (comprising thirteen environmental and engineering reports) to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commissiony between spring and July 2016. An amendment to the 1980 Alaska National Interest Lands Conservation Act is being proposed to help support the project, which is planned through Denali National Park. Work plans for 2016 are described. Moreover, the project is facing a weak global demand for LNG.
