Summary:The Permit Matrix is a computer application built by OFC to generate reports on major federal permits and approvals required for an Alaska natural gas project. These permits are for the various stages: fieldwork, pre-construction, construction (which includes most permits), and operations. This matrix generates either detailed reports or summary reports in either web format or PDF format. The user selections from options by "Permit Name", Agencies", "Project Features", and "Applicable Laws". Instructions on how to use this application is called "Permits matrix instructions" (it is cataloged separately).

Notes:The online matrix can generate reports in PDF format (which is actually an image of the text converted to PDF and cannot be processed for keyword searching) or in HTML format (which is much easier to read). ARLIS has archived these reports as PDFs based on the HTML versions and are thus searchable by keyword.
