Summary: | As the Office of the Federal Coordinator was preparing to close down in March 2015, a natural gas pipeline route from Prudhoe Bay to Nikiski, Alaska was being considered by project sponsors. Those sponsors filed preliminary maps to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in February 2015 that provide the general path. This report describes that proposed path starting at Point Thompson (from where a pipeline would connect to Prudhoe Bay) and ending at Nikiski in the south. Details on the pipeline are given for selected mileposts. |
