The routes are: North Slope/MacKenzie Valley corridor (traversing the Alaska North Slope into Canada's Mackenzie River delta and running south along the river into the Midwest with a leg to the western states, also called "Arctic Gas Pipeline Project" and sponsored by Alaskan Arctic Gas Pipeline Company), Alaska LNG route proposed by El Paso Alaska Company (traversing Alaska to Prince William Sound), and the Fairbanks Alternative corridor sponsored by Alcan Pipeline Company (paralleling the existing oil pipeline as far as Fairbanks then follow the Alaska Highway thorugh Canada with legs to U.S. regions).
