Summary:This document is the response from Alaska Energy Authority (AEA) to the the letter dated September 22, 2014, from Anchorage Fish and Wildlife Field Office of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. That letter respresents the comments from that Field Office to AEA's Initial Study Report (ISR) for the Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 14241). This correspondence consists of a two-page letter dated October 8, 2014, from Wayne Dyok, Susitna-Watana Project Manager at the Alaska Energy Authority, to Socheata Lor, Field Office Supervisor of the Anchorage Fish and Wildlife Field Office, with attachments. The attachments include (1) a comment-response table and (2) the original comment letter with its two attachments (numbered SuWa 303). The ISR comprises sixty volumes and was first released in June 2014 and completed in 2015. The ISR is required by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for the licensing of the proposed project, and is numbered SuWa 223.
