The study includes a systematic inventory of cultural resources within the Area of Potential Effects (APE), evaluation of the inventoried cultural resources within that area that may be affected by the project for eligibility into the National Register of Historic Places, and an assessment of Project-related effects on National Register-eligible historic properties within that area. There are three study components: inventory and evaluation of archeological and historical resources, paleoenvironment, and ethnography (with emphasis on the Ahtna people). This document details Alaska Energy Authority's efforts in implementing the study between 2014 and 2016, and is intended to supplement Part A of the Initial Study Report published in June 2014.
