Summary:The Talkeetna and Beluga subbasins (as shown on maps on pages [iv], vi, and vii for this study) include much of the lower Susitna River watershed that lies south of Denali National Park and Preserve and Denali State Park, north of the Cook Inlet between Tyonek and the Susitna River, east of W 152°, and west of the Susitna River (but includes lands near Talkeetna of the east side as far as W 149° 30ʹ or 45ʹ between the Kashwitna River and N 62°33ʹ). Thus, a small part of the study area lies west of the actual Susitna drainage basin.
