Summary:The ice processes study is conducted to understand existing ice processes in the Susitna River. The data will be used to predict ice processes after contruction of the Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project and the effects on the river's ecosystem. The study area stretches from the mouth of the Susitna River at the Cook Inlet to the Oshetna River confluence.
