Description
Summary:This set of technical documentation represent the draft Initial Study Report (ISR) for the proposed Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project. The ISR is required to be submitted to FERC for the original licensing of the proposed project. The constituent studies had been set forth in the FERC-approved Revised study plan, parts of which have been modified by FERC's Study plan determination. These documents describe Alaska Energy Authority's status in implementing the initial studies, which are still ongoing and scheduled to be completed during the 2014 and 2015 study years.
Physical Description:60 parts : color illustrations, color maps ; 28 cm.
Notes:"Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project (FERC No. 14241)."

ARLIS assigned report number: SuWa 223.

The overview and Parts A, B, and C of each section are dated: June 2014.

The supplemental information (Part D of each section and the overview) is dated: November 2015.

The initial release was accompanied by a cover letter dated June 3, 2014 addressed to Kimberly D. Bose (Secretary, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC)) from Wayne Dyok (Project Manager, Alaska Energy Authority). The letter is titled: Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project, Project No. 14241-000; Filing and distribution of Initial Study Report.

The release of Part D of each section was accompanied by a cover letter dated November 6, 2015 addressed to Kimberly D. Bose from Wayne Dyok (Project Manager, Alaska Energy Authority). The letter is titled: Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project, FERC Project No. 14241-000; Initial Study Report Part D: supplemental information to June 2014 Initial Study Report.

Overview volumes were prepared by Alaska Energy Authority. All other volumes were prepared for Alaska Energy Authority.

Each study plan comprises four parts: Part A contains Sections 1-6 and 8-9 (or 8-10); Part B contains supplemental information and errata to Part A of the February 3, 2014 Draft initial study report; Part C contains the executive summary and Section 7. Appendices, figures, and attachments generally belong to Part A (if not, then to Part C); and Part D contains supplemental information. Section 7.7 does not have a Part C.

Each of the 58 study plans and the two overviews are cataloged separately.

Each study plan section is prepared by a different consultant: ABR, Inc.-Environmental Research & Services; Ahtna, Inc.; Alaska Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit; Alaska Department of Fish and Game; Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Sport Fish; Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Geological & Geophysical Surveys; Brailey Hydrologic; Charles M.
