Summary:Due to the extensive drop in market oil prices, upon which the Alaska state budget is heavily dependent, Governor Walker in his first month in office is implementing this order to end all discretionary spending and the spending of certain other funds associated with six major energy, transportation, and aerospace projects located in various areas of the state. The Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project is one of the six projects listed. The governor instructs how to spend non-discretionary funds and requests a budgetary report within ten days from each project agency.
