Summary:The objectives of this study are to analyze extreme cases of flood waves produced by hypothetical failures of the proposed Watana and Devil Canyon dams of the Susitna Hydroelectric Project. The analyses are carried out over the reach of the Susitna River from the most upstream point in the reservoir of the dam being considered to the confluence of Trapper Creek, approximately 5 miles downstream from Talkeetna.
