This study is being conducted for evaluating potential Project-related effects and identifying appropriate mitigation. The goal is to provide current information on the abundance and habitat use of four species of terrestrial furbearers (coyote, red fox, lynx, and marten) in the study area, which encompasses a 10-km. (6.2 mile) buffer around the dam, dam facilities, inundation zone, and access and electrical transmission corridors. This draft document details Alaska Energy Authority's status in implementing the study as set forth in the FERC-approved Revised study plan.
