Summary:Studies on botanical resources are being planned to collect necessary baseline data to evaluate the potential effects of the Susitna-Watana Hydroelectric Project on vegetation, wildlife habitat, wetland, and vascular-plant resources. Five studies are presented. The study areas vary by study, but overall encompass a wide buffer zone around the planned access routes, transmission lines, dam, reservoir, and facilities in the upper and middle Susitna River basin as well as riparian areas downstream to river mile 75.
