The study area is identical to the area for the wildlife habitat study (Section 11.5) plus the area downstream of the proposed dam for riparian wildlife habitats (Section 11.6); that encompasses a 4-mile buffer zone surrounding proposed reservoir impoundment zone, facilities, powerhouse, access routes, and transmission lines in addition to the riperian zone from Gold Creek to River Mile 75 (approximately latitude N 62°) comprising the width of the flood plain.
