Description
Summary:This study summaries the alterations in the instream temperatures in the Susitna River with the Susitna Hydroelectric Project in place. Observed natural processes and timing of instream ice formation and decay are compared with natural and with-project processes simulated by the ICECAL computer model. The simulations were limited to the middle reach between Devil Canyon and the Susitna-Chulitna confluence, where the greatest changes are expected.
