Environment Minister Barry Penner and Joan McIntyre, MLA for West Vancouver-Garibaldi, check on the progress of shoreline cleanup crews on Saturday, Aug. 5, one day after the MV Westwood Annette spilled approximately 30,000 litres of bunker fuel into Howe Sound. Cleanup crews lay protective booms along the shoreline and place collected oil in waste containers. [More photos]
