ARLIS has launched a photo stream on Flickr, the popular photo sharing site. The stream consists of more than 2,000 images from the Exxon Valdez oil spill slide collection at ARLIS. All images in the ARLIS photo stream are in the public domain and available for reuse. The ARLIS photo stream on Flickr is available at www.flickr.com/photos/arlis-reference. High resolution images are available from ARLIS.
From 1989 through 1993 a series of shoreline surveys were conducted by inter-agency groups to assess oiling conditions in the spill area. These evaluations are organized by survey, geographic area, and shoreline segment number.

Pebble Project - Environmental Baseline Document
The Pebble Partnership has contracted with ARLIS to provide online access to the Pebble Project Environmental Baseline Document (EBD) via the ARLIS Document Server. Each section of the EBD has a permanent ARLIS address. Reference assistance with finding additional scientific literature regarding the Bristol Bay region is provided by ARLIS reference librarians.
Exxon Valdez Oil Spill Photo Collection
More than 2,400 color slides cover the early days of the oil spill and subsequent clean-up efforts, and includes photos of oiled wildlife, the tanker leaking oil, public meetings, protests, the Trans-Alaska Pipeline and Prudhoe Bay.
Point Thomson EIS Reference Collection
This collection contains 337 items released to ARLIS by ExxonMobil in 2009. A catalog record for the collection contains a link to the index maintained in a RefWorks database, which includes PDFs for many of these items. Some items are also cataloged separately in the collection.
