Furs, Skulls & Bird Mounts are made available at ARLIS by the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Division of Wildlife Conservation. Most items may be checked out from ARLIS for a 2-week period and may be renewed once for an additional two weeks. An inventory is available for
download.

These items are available on a first-come/first-served basis. Please check the catalog for availability by doing a keyword search using the name of the animal or bird exactly as it appears in the list. If the search produces too many hits, add keyword “realia”.

ARLIS is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but furs, mounts and skulls may only be checked out until 4:45 p.m. Items must be returned to ARLIS during open hours. If you need assistance, please contact the ARLIS reference desk at 27-ARLIS (272-7547) or reference@arlis.org.
