Coming Soon! Overdue Fines!

Beginning August 4th, with the move to our new catalog system, most
ARLIS books may be checked out for 4 weeks! Loan periods for kits,
furs, skulls and mounts will stay at 2 weeks due to high demand.

AND, beginning August 4th, overdue fines will be charged on ARLIS
books. [Note: This does NOT apply to founding agency staff.] ARLIS
items that become overdue will accrue fines at the rate of $.25 each
per day. Fines may be paid at the UAA/APU Consortium Library
circulation desk or at any Anchorage Municipal library. Fines cannot
be paid at ARLIS.

To avoid overdue fines, renew books BEFORE the due date by calling
the ARLIS reference desk at 272-7547 or

1. Go to the ARLIS web site at www.arlis.org.
2. Click “Renew Materials” in the yellow bar on the left side of the
screen.
3. Complete the form.
4. Click “Send my renewal request(s)” at the bottom of the screen.

These procedures may change slightly when ARLIS moves to the new
library catalog system August 4th.
