Whether you're looking for an internship or volunteer abroad experience, a short-term job,
or planning an international career, the U-M International Center's Overseas Opportunities Office can help
you clarify your search and find the information you need. Working abroad has been shown by participant's reports and research to provide benefits ranging from cross-cultural and language learning, to self-confidence and career preparation for life in a global society.

Opportunities Peer Advisors!
Each one of our Peer Advisors has studied or worked abroad and has extensive
overseas travel experience. The Peer Advisors are trained to help you
both become aware of the range of opportunities available and think
through which ones might be best for you. Our Peer Advisors maintain
weekly office hours in the International Center for advising. Please
