Overdue Fines
Fines accrue at $.25 (twenty-five cents) per day, per overdue item.
When a patron has incurred $5.00 in fines, the library suspends borrowing privileges until fines are paid, and the item is returned or a replacement fee has been paid.
If a book is placed in a book drop when the library is closed, fines will continue to accrue until the library is open and the book can be checked in.
Fines may be paid at the UAA/APU Consortium Library circulation desk with cash, check or credit card (Visa or MasterCard only).
Lost Items
The replacement fee for a lost book is the cost of the book, plus a $15 processing fee, plus any outstanding fines. The minimum replacement fee is $75.
ARLIS may on a case-by-case basis accept replacement copies for lost books.
