RSS Recent UpdatesLibrary users can now place hold requests on ARLIS books. Click on Place Hold in the catalog record, login and select the library where you wish to pick up your book. You will receive an email when the book is available for pickup at the library you selected. Founding agency users should use their ARLIS card and select ARLIS as the pickup library and their books will be delivered to their agency by courier or mail. Furs, skulls, and bird mounts are excluded from the holds system.
Federal Depository Library
ARLIS selects federal depository items and provides free public access. ARLIS now provides electronic access to the journal Nature for the years 2000 through the present. Logged-in Founders at any computer and patrons using ARLIS public computers now have access to the full-text articles. Please send your comments to reference@arlis.org if you find this useful.

This collection contains 337 items released to ARLIS by ExxonMobil in 2009. A catalog record for the collection contains a link to the index maintained in a RefWorks database, which includes PDFs for many of these items. Some items are also cataloged separately in the collection.

The Mine File Fiche is an index providing information through 1982 on the claim owner, company, location, type (load or placer), mineral type, years a claim was active, and whether a claim had been proved up on.

The ARLIS collection includes hundreds of DVDs and CD-ROMS containing reports, videos and recordings about the natural and cultural resources of Alaska.
Arctic Environmental Information and Data Center (AEIDC) Photo Collection
1,777 historic photographs of Alaska, from the early 1970s, covers all aspects of Alaska from cultural to scientific, including industry.
